Net Entertainment announces new 3D sound technology for pokies
Net Entertainment stole the spotlight once again at this years ICE Totally Gaming Conference, with two new pokies and an interesting new invention set to be added to their games.
From February 2 to February 4 2016, top software developers came together in London to exhibit their latest product launches at the ICE Totally Gaming Conference 2016.
While there was plenty to take in, NetEnt have truly shown why they are one of the world’s best casino gaming manufacturers with two new pokies and the incredible announcement of 3D Sound.
We will discuss the pokies below, but first we want to take a look at the new technology planned for NetEnt games.
Net Entertainment 3D Sound
Just when we thought we’d seen it all, Net Entertainment basically confirmed we had by moving on to things we hear, announcing 3D sound at the ICE Totally Gaming Conference 2016.
3D Sound is exactly as it sounds – audio effects which immerse the player into the game and make you feel as though the sound is all around you.
Watch the demo video played at the conference to see exactly what we mean, with the example of 3D Sound on NetEnt’s popular game, Gonzo’s Quest, truly demonstrating what it will be like playing with the new technology as we are transported directly to the jungle via the audio effects.
Unfortunately, there was no set release date announced for the first game featuring 3D Sound and while it took a full year between Net Entertainment’s major announcement at last year’s ICE Totally Gaming Conference of Guns N Roses to be released, we expect it might be here within the 12 months.
New pokies
The software developer also announced two new and exciting pokies set to be released this year, including Jimi Hendrix and Motorhead. The two pokies are anticipated to be released within 2016 and these will no doubt be available at our favourite NetEnt online casinos including www.Guts.com and www.LeoVegas.com.
With their success of Guns N’ Roses, we’ve caught on NetEnt are music buffs and perhaps these will be released with 3D Sound for a truly exciting experience.
